Are you looking for a venue that allows you to bring your own style and approach to your wedding celebration?  A venue that is bespoke and unusual, one that has the option to bring together the suppliers of your choice, without being influenced into set, specific packages?

Our Owl Barn wedding venue has been crafted to reflect just that.  We believe our space is special.  It is beautiful and wild and completely tailorable to the vision you have for your big day.  We specialise in intimate, creative and personal celebrations and are proud to be one of only a very small number of locations in Yorkshire, to offer an elopement service.

We are licenced to host civil ceremonies (although you do not have to have your legal marriage on site) both inside our barn and outside in our woodlands and nature areas.  We can create a package for you where everything is taken care of, alternatively you can hire our site and land and host your own DIY style wedding.  Our onsite accommodation also offers the opportunity to have an extended wedding celebration over several days.

We are an inclusive wedding venue and we understand that not everyone is looking for a traditional approach.  As a family run business, we spend time getting to know you, your vision and your requirements.  We work hard to assist in creating a beautiful, bespoke wedding whether it be just the 2 of you, or for 200 of you!  Guess what? We also understand that children and pets can be integral to a wedding celebration too, so of course you can have a tortoise ring bearer or a pooch for a best man!

Yes!  We have a gorgeous, rustic barn on site that can seat between 40-50 guests.

Yes! If you are looking for an outside ceremony we have several options, including, by the pond or in the woodland areas on site. The celebrant or registrar will always ask you to have a wet weather plan though, so in those circumstances we can offer the use of our ceremony barn and never have two weddings planned on the same day.

Yes of course!  We love dogs and are more than happy for you to bring them along with you.

Yes, of course!  Children are very welcome.

Depending on your chosen location, we can cater for weddings with up to 150 guests.  The glamping site, as an exclusive use location, has a max capacity of 70 guests for wedding (we can sleep up to 30).  If you have a larger celebration in mind, then dry hire of a field for a DIY style wedding would work best.  If you hire a field from us, you can have up to 150 guests.

Yes.  We find this to be a very popular option.  We offer packages which include everything you need and are here to help make everything as stress free as possible!

Yes, we do.  These are businesses that we have worked with – they are tried and tested!  You absolutely do not have to use them though! If you would prefer to source your own suppliers that is absolutely fine.

Yes of course we can provide witnesses if you are looking to have an elopement wedding, just the two of you.

Yes, we do have a Civil Marriage Licence so you can legally become married at Little Seed Field.  We do not arrange for the registrar to come to site, we ask that out couples complete that element of organising the day as there is often lots of paperwork to sort out which can be delayed by having us in the middle!
